Namibia is a land of dramatic contrasts, where towering desert dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean and wildlife travels across some of southern Africa’s most open landscapes.
Created in pen and ink with watercolor by Xplorer Maps artist and Co-Founder Chris Robitaille, this hand-drawn map follows the country from the Caprivi Strip and Etosha National Park to Windhoek, the Skeleton Coast, Namib-Naukluft National Park, and Fish River Canyon.
Look closely for the coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, the Cape Cross seal colony, desert shipwrecks, historic railways, and the mountains and dunes of the Namib. Rhinos, elephants, oryx, ostriches, Cape fur seals, desert plants, and other native wildlife add more of Namibia’s story to the artwork.
This lithographic print makes a distinctive addition to a home, office, study, or travel collection. It is also a thoughtful gift for safari travelers, wildlife enthusiasts, conservation supporters, and anyone with a connection to Namibia.
