Lake Malawi runs through the heart of this map, stretching along much of the country and shaping the landscapes, wildlife, and communities along its shores.
Created in pen and ink with watercolor by Xplorer Maps artist and Co-Founder Chris Robitaille, this hand-drawn map follows Malawi from the Nyika Plateau in the north to Lilongwe, Lake Malawi National Park, Zomba, Blantyre, and Mount Mulanje in the south.
Look closely for elephants, zebras, rhinos, leopards, colorful Lake Malawi cichlids, and native birds. National parks, mountain ranges, islands, villages, historic buildings, and scenes from daily life add depth to the artwork and help tell the story of the country known as the Warm Heart of Africa.
This lithographic print makes a meaningful addition to a home, office, study, or travel collection. It is also a thoughtful gift for travelers, wildlife enthusiasts, conservation supporters, and anyone with a connection to Malawi.
